Training Program Held on Tax Dispute Resolution

Directorate of Objections Review of General Directorate of Revenue of Ministry of Finance held awareness training on tax dispute resolution for more than one hundred taxpayers with the participation of representatives of the primary tax court and prosecutors of Kabul provincial tax cases in Academy of Taxes and Customs.
The program began with Mr.Nekmatullah Khostwal, Director of Objections Review, by welcoming the participants and explaining the process of resolving tax disputes.
Afterward, Mr. Shamsulhaq Haqmal, Directorate of Primary Tax Court, outlined the procedures and rules for handling complaints in the tax court.
At the end of the program, free discourse created to answer participant’s questions. Members of this discourse consisted of Director of Objections Review, Director of Primary Tax Court, Representatives of LTO, MTO, STO and a representative of Assessment Department. Raised questions and tax concerns were addressed in the discussion. Tax crimes, arrears, forms, law and document retention were the main topics of this training.
