Dr. Mirwsais.Behij

Dr.MirwaisBaheej is a government official servant born in July 1980 in Kapisa Province of Afghanistan.
Dr.Baheej attended Kabul Medical University and received his MD degree in 2006, and as well attended the University of Queensland in Australia, and received an MA degree in Governance and Public Policy in 2013.
He has been serving the Government of Afghanistan since March 2007 and worked as General Director of Planning at the Ministry of Economy, Director – General Afghanistan Revenue Department (ARD) of Ministry of Finance, and as Operational Deputy Director – General of Afghanistan Revenue Department (ARD).
Dr.Baheej represented Afghan Government in several high-level meetings at international and regional levels.
His areas of interest include policy development and analysis, leadership and organizational development, economic analysis, and public policy, research and data analysis, and leadership in post-conflict and fragile settings in the field of public health, development, and economic growth.
