BRITACOM high – level Virtual Conference on Development Planning of Tax Digitalization in the Context of the Global Pandemic

BRITACOM held a high-level Virtual Conference on New Challenges, New Opportunities and New Future, Development Planning of Tax Digitalization in the Context of the Global Pandemic on 15 December 2020.
This conference held among 163 tax jurisdictions and on behalf of Afghanistan Revenue Department Mr. Rahmanullah Shahab participated in the conference.
Mr. WANG Jun, Chair of BRITACOM council, delivered the opening remarks, updating the participants regarding later updates of BRITACOM.
Later on, Kazakhstan, Indonesia, Nigeria, Tajikistan, Angola, Hungary, Iran, Malaysia, Russia, and China share their tax administration experiences in respect of tax digitalization and its positive effects on their economies.
Meanwhile, Prof. Dr. Stef van Weeghel, Global Tax Policy Leader and a member of the BRITACOM Advisory Board, Ms. Elisa Song, Vice General Manager of Overseas Business Department, China Software and Technical Services Co Ltd and Mr. Daniel A. Witt, President, ITIC gave their speeches on tax digitalization from the taxpayer`s perspective.
At the end of the conference, a panel discussion took place and the panel exchanged their views on how tax digitalization serves national governance.
Finally, a joint statement released, and Mr. WANG Jun, Chair of BRITACOM council, delivered the closing remarks.
