Wages tax module implementation on government employees

A meeting on the implementation of the wages tax module on the salaries of government employees held in the Khyber Hall of the Ministry of Finance with the participation of the Finance Directors of Ministries and independent departments.
In the beginning, Habibullah Amin Andar, Director of MTO , briefed about the importance and necessity of implementing this module in organizations.
He added that the application of the mentioned module provides a suitable platform in wages tax reporting, accurate tax assessment, accuracy of government employees’ statistics, elimination of fictitious employees, and maintaining the tax record of each employee based on their TIN (Tax Identification Number).
Moreover, a technical presentation session on how to use this module and e-Tax Form was also presented; After a thorough discussion and exchange of views, it was decided that each of the finance and accounting departments of the ministries and independent departments should introduce a representative in order to obtain a user on the e-filling system and receive the necessary training so that the tax module can be successfully implemented on government employees.
It is worth mentioning that, many electronic systems have recently implemented in the Ministry of Finance that in addition to operation acceleration has led to clarity, transparency, and betterment of affairs.
